Manchester United against Brighton – English top flight Match Report

Preamble

Man Utd, having just beaten Sunderland and Liverpool, are targeting a trio of victories on the bounce this evening. Confidence is high under Ruben Amorim for the very first time!

Only problem is, Brighton are Brighton & Hove Albion, who have won during three consecutive away games at the Theatre of Dreams, and six of the last seven League meetings in this rivalry.

Despite United’s form; it’s been straightforward very comfortable. Having said all that, Brighton are otherwise consistently inconsistent like United, so this game is both fascinating and potentially rollickingly good entertainment.

Maguire picked up an injury during training this week. Malacia returns on the bench for the first time this season.

The striker, ex-United player to win the Premier League during the 2012-13 season, returns to Old Trafford on a hot streak scoring four in three, exceeding his tally in his previous 15.

Pre-Match Patter

Ruben Amorim doesn’t much care regarding comments from Liverpool’s boss … while Welbeck is focused with the thought processes by the former Chelsea manager.

Analysts have noted that this match could have implications for both teams’ seasons as the Premier League unfolds.

Key players to watch feature Fernandes in red and Danny Welbeck for the visitors, both in fine form recently.
