Star Refutes Anti-Vaxxer Stance After Voicing Contentious Coronavirus Documentary

Liam Neeson has given his voice to a new documentary that questions the safety of immunizations and praises former health official the political figure.

The Film's Contentious Basis

Called "Plague of Corruption," the project is adapted from a well-known publication published by a disgraced researcher, who rose to infamy during the global outbreak for assertions that Covid was caused by a problematic version of the flu vaccine.

The book's co-author, a producer, has penned books with far-right radio host the Infowars host. The producer wrote online hailing Neeson's involvement in the project.

An Unequivocal Denial

The team of Liam Neeson have provided a comment firmly refuting claims that he supports anti-vaccine views.

"Many acknowledge that misconduct may occur within the drug industry, but that should never be conflated with opposition to vaccines," the comment reads. "Liam has never been, and remains not, anti-vaccination. His considerable work with the global charity underscores his enduring support for worldwide vaccination initiatives."

It added that the star had no hand in the project's editorial content and that inquiries about its assertions ought to go to the creators.

Key Assertions Featured in the Feature

In the film, the script provided by Neeson features several strong statements:

  • It claims that pro-immunization voices have demanded "unconditional submission" to government bodies.
  • It posits that "research has become highly politicised."
  • Kennedy is shown saying, "The core flaw with vaccines is that they just aren't safely tested."
  • The film further attacks Covid lockdowns, claiming they caused severe distress that led to the loss of thousands of lives.
  • On the topic of pandemic shots, it mentions a perspective that they were "developed too quickly" and seen as "dangerous experiments."

Historical Controversy and Recent Debates

It further cites a past television report about clinical trials on children, which was later the topic of a formal apology by the network for unbalanced reporting.

Last month, Kennedy called on the Centers for Disease Control to change its long-held position that there is no causal relationship between vaccines and autism. This claim is repeated in the documentary, contrary to a fresh analysis from the global health body reiterating no connection has been found.

A Past Statement of Advocacy

Contrasting the film's tone, Neeson has previously shown firm endorsement for vaccines in his position as a UNICEF goodwill ambassador.

Two years ago, he called vaccines as "an extraordinary human success story," stating that "The conversation about vaccines in recent years has overlooked how much positive impact they have done... It is perhaps one of the biggest human endeavors in our history."

The documentary concludes with Neeson's narration saying, "This is not the finish of our story. This is the dawn of a different phase."
