The visionary game developer, renowned for co-creating the immensely successful first-person shooter Call of Duty, has tragically died in a traffic collision in Los Angeles, California at the age of 55.
The tragic news was announced by Electronic Arts, which owns Respawn Entertainment, the video game company that he helped create.
The celebrated industry figure died after his car crashed and burst into flames on a motorway in LA on this past Sunday, as reported by.
